Full Job Description
Interim Assistant Accountant job with a growing industrial business based in Falkirk for an initial 3-month period.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Processing incoming and outgoing payments, including vendor invoices, bills, and customer payments
- Reconciling accounts payable and receivable statements
- Reconciling bank accounts monthly and resolve discrepancies as they arise
- Helping with the preparation of year-end financial reports
- Assisting in maintaining accurate financial records
- Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures
The Individual:
- Proven experience in a similar accounting role
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Excel
- Immediately available
On Offer:
- £35,000 p.a.
- Office based working in Falkirk
