iMultiply are working in partnership with an exciting business in Glenrothes who are looking for an experienced Management Accountant, a quick learner, to join the team on a 3-month temporary basis.

This is a full-time opportunity, 40 hours per week, on a hybrid work set up and starts immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the month-end process to ensure it is completed efficiently and accurately, meeting reporting timetables.
Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Support cashflow forecasting processes and reporting, ensuring all figures are updated and accurate.
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports, delivering insights into key performance indicators.
Oversee the management of fixed assets, including capital investments, approvals, disposals, and maintaining asset records.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including tracking prepayments and provisions, while identifying and addressing any risks or opportunities.
Assist with internal and external audit requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Experience and Skills Required:

Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with relevant finance or accounting experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software.
Experience in a management accounting or financial reporting role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and relevant legislation.
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Experience with ERP systems and other financial software.
Analytical skills with the ability to identify insights and trends in financial data.
