Job Summary
HomeRewire are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Administrator at our office in Newton Mearns.
Local applicants only.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing office operations, providing administrative support, and ensuring efficient workflow within the organisation. This role requires proficiency in various software applications and excellent communication skills to facilitate interactions with staff and clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations and ensure a smooth workflow.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organised filing systems for documents and records.
- Utilise XERO for basic accounting tasks as required.
- Provide clerical support, including typing correspondence and reports.
- Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in scheduling meetings and managing calendars using Google Suite.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all administrative tasks are completed on time.
- Prepare and distribute internal communications as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position.
- Proficiency in Xero, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with clerical duties and office management practices is preferred.
