Full Job Description
Start Date: ASAP
Hourly Rate: 12.65 per hour
Hours: 15 hours per week over at least 3 days (within Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm)
Duration: Ongoing weekly
Location: Fully office-based, Edinburgh, EH12
Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Part-Time Administrator to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an administrative environment, enjoys working collaboratively, and has strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organising and coordinating events, meetings, and training days, including venue bookings, catering arrangements, managing registrations, and processing payments/expenses.
- Providing administrative support to the Committee and staff, including minute-taking, staffing reports, printing, e-filing, and expense processing.
- Updating and maintaining accurate information on the website regarding courses, events, and training.
- Handling correspondence via telephone, email, and post, ensuring all enquiries from are appropriately directed.
- Contributing to newsletters with relevant input and updates.
- Supporting a small Office team with general administrative and housekeeping tasks, ensuring visitors feel welcome and the Office runs smoothly.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional yet friendly approach.
- Proficiency in IT and a range of software, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
- Experience in event and training day organisation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team, including volunteers.
