Full Job Description
Cairn Housing Group requires an experienced Corporate Officer to support both the Governance Services Manager and the Health & Safety Manager.
Key duties and responsibilities include supporting the Boards, Committees, Working Groups and staff groups as directed by the Governance Services Manager, ensuring that meetings are organised, papers are co-ordinated, circulated, fully minuted and run according to the regulatory and organisational standards set. Monitoring follow-up actions, updating records/registers in compliance with organisational, regulatory and statutory requirements, and completing other governance administration tasks as directed. Supporting the Health & Safety Manager for Cairn Housing Group with various administrative tasks as directed to ensure safe, effective and compliant processes and procedures throughout the organisation.
The successful applicant should have strong administration skills, a relevant academic/industry qualification or significant experience (3 yrs) in a similar role, experience of working with and supporting senior management teams, experience of producing high quality minutes for governing bodies and committees. Knowledge of governance and health & safety issues would be advantageous.
A willingness to travel and to able to occasionally stay away from home overnight may be required.
