Full Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Contract Supervisor to join our team at Portadown. Providing support to operational teams, you will be the vital link between management and operatives on the ground. Responsible for supervising, directing & assisting up to 25 employees, including up to 6 chargehands in order to deliver quality customer focussed Grounds Maintenance service across the region. Contributing to the efficient and effective performance of several high profile housing executive & association contracts, this role offers career growth, a supportive working environment, and the chance to make a real impact.

  • Previous experience as a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, Team Leader, or equivalent transferable skills, with a proven track record of supervising employees in a busy environment
  • A professional attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively with a 'hands on' approach.
  • Able to effectively deploy resource including labour, transport, plants & equipment (and ensure all are maintained to a good standard).
  • Full clean UK Driving License (B+E with trailer) and IT literacy are essential.
  • PA1 & PA6 spraying certificates advantageous
  • Physically fit & able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, Disability Confident
