Full Job Description
Rate of pay is at least £12.21 per hour, pay rise pending.
Haddington-based disabled lady looking for some personal assistants to support her with daily living, including help with cats.
Your job will be to help the lady to do what she wants. This could be going to the park, cafes, shopping, go to appointments, or spend a relaxing time at the local leisure centre for a sauna. You could help her to have a rummage in charity shops or go to the theatre or cinema. She may just want company whilst she is watching her favourite Disney films or listening to true crime on audible.
The job will involve personal care and domestic duties. It is a must that you are an animal lover as the employer has three cats and may need support to look after them.
The employer is looking for someone with experience in care and it would be helpful, if you could drive and be willing to use your car during work (costs paid).
A shift will last seven hours. There are five shifts to be filled with one at the weekend. Applications from people looking to do part-time work welcome including if you only want to do one shift per week.
Need at least two people to share the shifts.
Shift times to be negotiated. Please state in your application how many shifts you wish to do.
