Based at Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park in Renfrewshire you will be required to work at our visitor sites at Castle Semple and Muirshiel. These are busy locations with many visitors; therefore, a professional and approachable manner in dealing with the public is essential along with the ability to work unsupervised.

You will work both indoors and in an outdoor environment and be available to work a shift pattern which may include early evenings, weekends and public holidays. The duties of the post include keeping sites and centres clean and tidy. As well as basic surveillance activities of Park sites.

It is desirable that you have previous work experience of cleaning/ cleansing; the ability to communicate with a wide range of people; the ability to use your own initiative and an interest in the countryside/ conservation.

A vocational SQA level qualification (or equivalent) is also desirable.

A driving license is desirable for this post.

Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 6 Months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
