Civils Projects - Infrastructure, Energy
Peace Recruitment are working with a well-established civil engineering contractor specialising in infrastructure and energy projects. With a strong track record of successful project delivery, they are committed to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Sub-Agent to join our client's team and contribute to their continued growth and success.
As a Sub-Agent, you will play a key role in supporting the management and delivery of civil engineering projects. Working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing specific sections of the project, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the planning and coordination of project activities, including resource allocation, materials procurement and subcontractor management.
- Monitoring progress and ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with the project schedule and specifications.
- Conducting regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or non-conformances, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with the project team to manage and resolve technical queries and construction issues.
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to maintain effective communication and ensure project objectives are met.
- Providing regular reports on project progress, highlighting any deviations from the plan and proposing corrective actions.
- Assisting in the preparation of project documentation, including method statements, risk assessments and quality control procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the civil engineering or construction industry.
- Sound knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and relevant regulations.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and build relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using project management software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
