A long-established Glasgow architectural practice is seeking a Project/Senior Architect or experienced Architectural Technologist to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of major schemes both in the UK and abroad. This is a position that would suit someone with strong technical knowledge, confident client-facing ability, and a desire to take ownership of projects from inception through to completion. While the practice’s roots are in Scotland, their client relationships span internationally, and this role will involve occasional travel to the Middle East—particularly Dubai—for site visits, meetings, and design coordination. Travel will be limited to a few times a year, but flexibility and enthusiasm for international work is essential.

Proficiency in Revit is essential, as the office operates almost entirely in BIM. Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong technical ability, good understanding of UK building regulations, and experience of projects through all RIBA stages.

In addition to UK-based commercial and hospitality work, the Middle East portfolio presents a unique opportunity to broaden experience and take part in international delivery with high-profile operators. This aspect of the role would suit someone who is culturally aware, confident in a client-facing environment, and excited by the prospect of working in a fast-evolving international market. Support will be provided for travel and accommodation when visiting sites abroad, and team members typically coordinate with Dubai-based consultants and clients remotely in the meantime.
