Full Job Description
> Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing efficient and effective solutions.
> Ensure all machinery performs at optimal levels.
> Proactively identify potential issues and address them before they escalate.
> Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to both customers and team members.
> Manage multiple tasks in a busy environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
> Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including parts used.
> Collaborate with team members to foster a positive and productive workplace.
> Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations, including safety checks and implementing safe work procedures, escalating concerns to the supervisor/plant operations manager when necessary.
> Uphold the company's high standards and understand how excellent customer service impacts overall satisfaction
> Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical engineering (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, HND, or equivalent).
> Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems specific to heavy plant machinery.
> Proven experience within the plant industry or a similar field.
> Excellent troubleshooting abilities with a track record of diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues.
> Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical problems clearly to both technical and non-technical individuals.
> Customer-oriented, with a dedication to delivering high-quality service.
> Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently, showing initiative and strong problem-solving capabilities.
> Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
