Full Job Description
We are now recruiting for an experience HGV Technician to join us at our Bathgate facility, if you are an experienced HGV Technician, or a LCV technician looking to train towards HGV read on! As our HGV Technician you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs to a high standard.
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults efficiently using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Performing safety inspections and ensure all work complies with legal standards.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and parts used.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualified HGV Technician or LCV with relevant experience - Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Good communication and organisational skills
Contract: Full time, permanent, 45-hour working week. Overtime opportunities available. Shift patterns detailed below., Competitive salary based on experience - Choice of fixed shift patterns (no rotation)
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- Enhanced pay rates for night shift
- Work with an industry-leading brand in a supportive environment, Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm Back Shift: Monday to Thursday 1pm - 10.30pm Friday 10am - 7.30pm Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7:45pm - 8:00am We also require our Technician's to work 2 Saturdays per month, the shift is 8am - 12:30pm and is paid at time and a half. This is for day shift staff only unless night shift staff request the overtime. Each shift pattern consists of a 45-hour working week. Overtime opportunities available.
