Job Opportunity: Site Engineer
Location: Stonehaven
Job Type: Temporary (6 months)
Company: Contract Scotland, on behalf of a regional civil engineering contractor
Role Overview
Contract Scotland is seeking experienced Site Engineers to join our client’s team near Stonehaven. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a significant substation civil engineering project.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying to ensure accurate project execution.
- Supervising site activities and conducting inductions for new team members.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and targets.
- Managing Quality Assurance (QA) systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Liaising with teams and stakeholders to support project delivery.
What’s on Offer?
- Immediate start – six-month contract.
- Accommodation provided.
- Competitive day rate.
- Full-time hours:
- Monday – Friday: 07:00 - 17:00
Requirements
- Proven experience on civil engineering projects.
- Previous experience on substation projects (desirable).
- Strong setting out skills.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own transport.
- Flexibility to travel when required.
