Full Job Description
role, you'll be responsible for orchestrating major facility outages, optimizing resource allocation, and driving cost-effective maintenance solutions. Working at the intersection of multiple disciplines, you'll collaborate with diverse teams - from construction and operations to mechanical integrity and plant maintenance - to develop comprehensive work packs and maintain site-wide consistency in outage planning. Your expertise will be vital in shaping our HSE standards, quality protocols, and manpower utilization strategies, ensuring our facility maintains peak operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
- Drive HSE culture and Goal Zero initiatives within the outage team
- Gather and analyze initial outage scope, including legal and regulatory requirements
- Develop detailed work packs and comprehensive maintenance plans
- Create and maintain master schedules in collaboration with stakeholders
- Prepare +/- 10% cost estimates and manage resource planning
- Coordinate material requirements and ensure timely availability
- Monitor progress through S-curves and critical path analysis
- Lead daily execution meetings and coordinate with external contractors
- Manage emergent repair work during execution phase
- Support outage closure and performance analysis
Proven experience in engineering maintenance/outage planning - Proficiency in Primavera P6
- Strong technical engineering background
- Experience in chemical, petrochemical, or similar industries
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Track record of successful outage planning and execution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities

The site was founded in 1919 and today employs nearly 400 skilled people in a variety of roles that include manufacturing, engineering, scientific and production support.
