Full Job Description
- Handle and care for our guests' luggage both on arrival and departure, ensuring everything goes to the right place.
- Support the Club's welcoming ambience by setting the fireplaces, delivering members their morning newspapers as well as any parcels and letters addressed to them, and assisting your colleagues in Housekeeping behind the scenes by transporting linens, keeping stores in order, and handling recycling.
- Pro-actively respond to any requests from our members and guests and go the extra mile to ensure their needs are met., Gratuities (tips) that are passed directly to staff are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of their role., Please send us your CV and a covering letter which responds to the below: 1. This role can involve lifting luggage, moving linens, and being on your feet for long periods. Are you comfortable with the physical demands of the job, and how do you maintain your energy throughout a busy shift? 2. This role involves a variety of tasks each day. How do you stay organised and manage your time when handling multiple responsibilities?
- You're friendly, enthusiastic and enjoy meeting new people.
- You can work unsupervised and use your initiative in a conscientious and dependable manner.
- You're a team-player and enjoy working alongside colleagues in what can be a fast-paced environment.
- Ideally you have some experience in a venue such as a guest house or hotel, but if not don't worry - our team will be happy to help you with your training.
- You're willing to learn and take direction.
- Essential for this role are clear and legible handwriting, the flexibility to work varying shifts, and a full, clean driving license.
