Service: Customer Support Services - Customer Engagement
Closing Date: Wednesday 30th April 2025
We are looking to welcome a customer service agent within our Customer Service Point in Campbeltown. The role is within a small team supporting the Customer Service Centre to provide a high quality, efficient and effective service to users by providing a high quality, customer focused service within the Customer Service Centre Team, processing enquiries and requests, offering advice and information on Council Services and carrying out a range of other duties in accordance with Council Policy, service guidelines and procedures. The role will also assist with providing an effective and efficient registration service, conducting civil marriages, civil partnerships, citizenship ceremonies, baby naming ceremonies renewal of marriage vows and associated duties/paperwork including preparation of registers.
This is a permanent part time post, working 25 hours per week and is based in our Customer Service Point, Burnet Building, Campbeltown. The post is a face-to-face role and is office based
Processing customer enquiries on a face-to-face basis is a large part of the role but the successful applicant will also be processing blue badge applications, processing free school meals and clothing grants and registering births, deaths and marriages. The successful candidate will be using various computer systems and must have experience of using Microsoft Office Packages and understand the working of an office environment.
