Working closely with the Team Leader – Roads Network Management, your key responsibilities will be to manage all processes required to coordinate all road works activities. To ensure compliance by the Authority with the NRSWA and other associated primary legislation in relation to liaison, coordination, noticing, inspection and traffic management and to ensure a coordinated approach on all undertakers/private contractors works to ensure disruption is minimised and where necessary facilitate chairing meetings. 

You will be a highly effective communicator and team player, a strategic thinker, and an experienced roads professional who will have a demonstrable track record of consistent achievement. You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as with teams across the Council. Analytical skills, astute political awareness are needed, together with a commitment to customer-focused public services. Working with colleagues across the organisation and external partners, you will build and develop relationships to deliver solutions and improvements for the benefit of all of our citizens.
