St Columba's exists to give everyone who needs it the very best hospice care. We're an independent charity at the heart of our local community, offering free, flexible and person-centred palliative care and support to our patients and their families.
The East Lothian Community Fundraiser role is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to continue the development of relationships, with a focus across our East Lothian community.
The successful candidate will encourage and enable community fundraising and supporter led activities, while assisting the wider team to deliver East Lothian fundraising events. You will also help maintain and utilise financial and supporter data to improve and develop our fundraising relationships and offerings. You will be an active part of the Fundraising Team, helping in other fundraising areas during busy times.
We are looking for someone who is a confident communicator with a passion for working with people throughout the community. You will be highly organised, able to run projects on time and within agreed budgets, have excellent time management skills and have the ability to solve problems and deal with queries which require a proactive and tenacious manner.

For an informal discussion about the role please contact Diane Ewart using the contact details on our Hospice website.
St Columba's Hospice Care is an independent Scottish Charity, SC003634, regulated by the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR). Scotland’s first modern hospice, it first opened its doors in 1977. Over the years it has grown and evolved into an exemplary provider of specialist palliative care for thousands of people with life-limiting illnesses in Edinburgh and the Lothians annually, while also providing support to their relatives and loved ones.
The Hospice offers competitive rates of pay, generous pension contributions, annual leave allowance and occupational sick pay entitlements that increase with length of service at St Columba's Hospice, and a supportive and rewarding place to work, with our own on-site education and research team - we're an Investor in People organisation!
