From helping people find work or boosting their confidence and motivation, we’re here to provide guidance, encouragement, and practical solutions.What you’ll be doing:Supporting our Practitioners to help people with convictions to overcome barriers and achieve their goals.Delivering direct support to participants, and aid the facilitation of indirect support, in relation to their stage of the Apex Scotland Participant Journey.Offering one-to-one advice and supporting our Practitioners to facilitate group workSupporting individuals with the transition to training, employment, and support servicesChallenging stigma and advocating for second chancesWorking collaboratively with other professionals and servicesYou might be a great fit if you:Have experience in supporting others – whether through work, volunteering, or personal experienceAre a great communicator who can build trust and motivate peopleHave a non-judgmental and compassionate approachCan provide flexible and responsive support to meet individual needsBelieve in the potential for people to changeWhat We Offer:Full training – no prior experience in criminal justice neededA supportive and inclusive team that values your unique skillsThe opportunity to make a tangible difference in people’s livesThis role is ideal for anyone with experience in guiding, supporting, or working with others—whether through professional roles or personal lived experience—who wants to apply their skills in a new and meaningful way.You will operate Edinburgh wide and is required to be mobile and operate in an outreach manner, with means of access to regular travel and movement throughout the area.Ready to help others create a future beyond their past?We’d love to hear from you!
