Hourly Rate: £19.54 - £21.20
Hours: 17.5
Salary: £35672.14 - £38701.64 pro rata/per annum
Contract Duration: Temporary until 8th May 2026

Scottish Borders Council are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to work with Care Leavers and young people in Continuing Care. Where this is a requirement for the successful candidate to work from home as part of the role you will be provided with the necessary IT equipment by the Council, however, you will be responsible for the provision of any required furniture.
Essential
HNC/SVQ3 in Social Care or Childcare and Education, or considerable experience and a commitment to undertake such training.
*A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. SBC's e-car scheme is available. *If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driver's licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability. Should it be possible to make such an adjustment in order that you can undertake the travel responsibilities of the post, this will be taken into account in consideration for this role
