Applications are invited for the position of LAT ST3 level or above at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Aberdeen Maternity Hospital. The Unit is the designated tertiary referral unit for the North East of Scotland and provides a full range of Obstetric and Gynaecological services. The unit has responsibility for approximately 6000 deliveries and 9000 gynaecology admissions per annum.
You would join a thriving and busy Obstetric and Gynaecology department with ample opportunity for varied and high quality speciality experience. Depending on your experience, we will allocate you to the most appropriate rota with a view to progression should your skills develop.
The end date of this post is, 4th August 2026.
Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required. (licence to practise must be in place prior to starting in post). The Postgraduate Dean confirms that this placement and / or programme has the required educational and Postgraduate Dean's approval.
Applicants may be eligible for excess travel and relocation expenses. Information regarding nationally agreed excess travel and relocation are contained in NHS Circular PCS(DD) 2010/8. NHS Grampian's relocation policy can be accessed by visiting.
