Senior Early Years Officer (Abbotsgrange Early Learning and Childcare Centre) – Part Time
A vacancy has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Early Years Officer (part time) at Abbotsgrange Early Learning and Childcare Centre.
The successful candidate will assist in the management and provision of early learning and childcare service within the school. You should have sound knowledge of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures with extensive experience of working with children from birth to 5 years.
You will hold an HNC in Childcare and Education, an SNNB Certificate or equivalent qualification. You should hold a qualification to allow registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). Experience or knowledge of outdoor learning/forest nursery approach would be advantageous.
The post is part time, term time working 18.5 hours (alternate Wednesdays and every Thursday and Friday) Please note salary will be adjusted for part time and term time working.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
The interviews will take place as follows
Wednesday 14th May – Staff Panel
Thursday 15th June – Playroom Observation and Formal Interview
The proposed start date for this position is 19th June 2025.
