Balfron High is a forward thinking, learner centred, six-year comprehensive school serving a large rural catchment in West Stirlingshire. The village of Balfron is situated 18 miles from Glasgow and Stirling and easily commutable.

The needs and aspirations of our young people are at the heart of our planning and approach.

We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and enthusiastic Principal Teacher of Pupil Support 1FTE to join the team. The successful candidate will be committed to GIRFEC principles and be driven to promote young people’s rights. They will have outstanding inter-personal skills and be able to develop, lead, manage and implement all aspects of Pupil Support for a case load of young people referred through Staged Intervention.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.

If you’ve got the right skills for the job we want to hear from you. We encourage applications from the right candidates regardless of age (restrictions apply to Modern Apprenticeships), disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief or race.
