Freelance General Foreman – Civil Engineering Contractor
Location: Livingston
Duration: 2-3 months (immediate start)
Rate: Competitive (DOE)

Our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Freelance General Foreman to join their team for a short-term contract in Livingston. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a key project with a reputable company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site teams.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Report progress to the site/project manager and address any on-site challenges.
• Maintain quality control and adherence to project specifications.

Requirements:

✔ Proven experience as a General Foreman in the civil engineering sector.
✔ Strong leadership and site management skills.
✔ Valid CSCS card (Gold or Black preferred).
✔ SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
✔ First Aid certification (preferred).
✔ Ability to start immediately.
