PFC Careers are delighted once agin to be working with a growing FM business to recruit a Quantity/Estimator on a permanent basis. The role will be full time and based in their modern offices in Glasgow.

The company in question are going through a strong period and this role is to supplement their team given the increase in workload. You will be the most senior commercial contact within the business and work hand in hand with the Divisional Director, who is extremely knowledgeable and approachable.

You will be responsible for taking FM contracts commercially from inception to completion. These vary in size as from small contracts to larger jobs, which the company are now picking up.

The role will consist of

Reporting to the Divisional Director, you will play a pivotal role in:

• Managing tenders from receipt to submission, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
• Conducting site surveys, scoping visits, and pricing work .
• Preparing interim applications for payment and internal valuations for specific projects.
• Being a Quantity Surveyor on selected projects, including measuring, valuing, and agreeing on work sections.
• Negotiating contracts and securing agreements with clients and subcontractors.
• Supporting and guiding junior team members.
• Evaluating contractual implications, managing changes, and forecasting project outcomes

Ideally you will have experience working for an FM business, however other backgrounds can be considered.
