Job Opportunity: Site Managers - Concrete & Steel Framework Projects
Location: Various Sites including Central Belt & Borders.
Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for an exciting and flexible opportunity? Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is currently seeking a Site Manager to oversee concrete and steel framework projects across the UK.
Role Overview: As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations on multiple short-term projects (4-6 weeks). These projects are scattered across the country, and you will have the opportunity to manage specialist subcontractors, handle various site responsibilities, and work independently to ensure work is carried out efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage specialist subcontractors and set work schedules.

Oversee daily paperwork including DABs, inductions, inspections, TBTs, and issuing permits.

Review and approve RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements).
-
Upload documentation to the document control system.
-
Coordinate with suppliers for welfare and site supplies.
-
Capture costs and input into weekly cost sheets.
Travel & Logistics:
-
Sites are short-term (4-6 weeks) and located across the country.

Travel covered within working hours, and digs will be provided if necessary.
