Our client, a well-established civil groundworks contractor, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team on a temporary 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to step into a key role with immediate impact on a variety of active and upcoming projects in the Dundee area.

Location: Dundee
Duration: 6-month contract (with immediate start)
Role Type: Temporary / Contract
Competitive rate offered (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for groundworks and civils projects.

• Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive tenders.

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to gather and validate pricing information.

• Support the commercial team with cost planning and value engineering.

✅ Requirements:

• Proven experience in estimating for civil engineering and groundworks.

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.

• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Able to start immediately and commit to a full 6-month contract.
