Full Job Description
Site Agent – Civil Engineering (Scottish Water Projects)
Location: Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland
Contract: Temporary (6–9 months)
Start Date: Immediate
Rate: Competitive, DOE
Our client, a reputable civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Agent to lead delivery on a number of Scottish Water projects throughout Dumfries and Galloway.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team delivering critical infrastructure works across the region. The role demands a proactive and organised professional with a strong track record in water-related civils projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily site operations ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards

Coordinate with subcontractors, site engineers, and project managers
-
Ensure compliance with Scottish Water standards and HSEQ regulations
-
Manage documentation, progress reporting, and client liaison
✅ Requirements:

Valid CSCS card
-
SMSTS qualification
-
Proven experience in water/civil engineering projects
-
Strong communication and leadership skills
-
A DOMS qualification is highly advantageous
Additional Info:

Work will be based across multiple sites in Dumfries and Galloway

Must be available for an immediate start

Initial contract is for 6 to 9 months, with potential for further opportunities
