About the Role

Based in Lanarkshire, our client is looking for a Customer Delivery Driver to be the face of their business, ensuring products are delivered on time and customers receive the outstanding service they’ve come to expect.

As the Customer Delivery Driver, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the company’s reputation and relationships with clients. You’ll manage your daily workload independently, driving your van and delivering fresh, high-quality produce to catering businesses across Scotland. Role Responsibilities

• Customer Delivery: Safely and efficiently deliver fresh produce to catering businesses, ensuring quality and accuracy with each order.
• Customer Interaction: Serve as the face of the business, providing exceptional customer service and fostering positive relationships with clients.
• Route Planning: Plan and manage your daily delivery routes, ensuring timely and efficient service to all customers.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a solid understanding of the company’s product range, enabling you to answer customer queries and offer expert advice when needed.
• Stock Management: Handle deliveries with care, ensuring all produce arrives in perfect condition and managing any stock discrepancies.
• Independent Work: Enjoy the freedom of managing your workload from your van, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
• Overtime Opportunities: Flexibility to take on overtime if desired, allowing for additional earnings.

Your Experience & Skills

• Customer-Focused: A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and building lasting relationships with clients.
• Interest in Food: A genuine interest in fresh produce and the catering industry is a real asset for this role.
• Self-Motivated: Comfortable working independently, managing your daily tasks and responsibilities from your van.
• Reliable & Responsible: Punctual, responsible, and able to handle the physical aspects of the role (e.g., lifting and transporting fresh produce).
• Clean Driving Record: A full, clean driving license and experience driving a delivery van.
• Organisational Skills: Ability to efficiently plan and manage your route, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Team Player: While you'll work independently, you should also be comfortable working as part of a wider team to ensure the company’s success.
