Stewarts of Tayside is an independent produce grower based at Tofthill Farm in Glencarse, Perth, Scotland.

Due to an increase in our customer base, we currently have permanent vacancies for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our Transport Operation based in the Perth area.

The Role:

Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering goods throughout the UK to a variety of locations in a timely and professional manner whilst providing excellent customer service and remaining compliant.

Experience of delivering to Regional Distribution Centres is desirable, along with a good geographical knowledge of the UK.

We offer day shift (6 on, 3 off) and nightshift (4 on, 4 off), both are tramping positions. Expected hours: 40 – 65 per week.

Role Requirements:

HGV Class 1 CE License
A Digital Tachograph Card
DCPC Qualification Card
A good understanding of drivers’ hours and the working time directive
No prior DD10 Convictions (at least 10-year-old)
A strong work ethic
Flexibility and punctuality
An awareness of fuel-efficient driving techniques
Excellent customer service skills
Reliably commute to Glencarse, Perth and Kinross or plan to relocate before starting work
