HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers Wanted – Pallet Delivery Work with Driver Hire Edinburgh City!
Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for flexible work, competitive pay, and control over your schedule? Driver Hire Edinburgh City are offering exciting opportunities for professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join our trusted team.
About the Role:
- Type of Work: Pallet deliveries to commercial premises.
- Schedule: Ad-hoc agency shifts – ideal for topping up your income or maintaining a flexible lifestyle.
- Pay Rates:
- £15.00 per hour (PAYE)
- £19.99 per hour overtime (after 8 hours, PAYE)
- Minimum 8 hours’ pay per shift guaranteed
- Holiday Pay: Accrued with every hour worked
What You’ll Need:
- Experience: Solid background driving HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles
- Licences:
- Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (held for at least 12 months)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
- Driving Record:
- No more than 9 penalty points
- No DD, DG, CD, IN, or DR convictions (insurance restrictions apply)
- Skills: Confident, reliable, and capable of managing a range of routes and vehicle types
