Full Job Description
Morgan Hunt are working with a public sector client based in Edinburgh to recruit a business improvement advisor on a temporary contract, for an initial two months.

As our Business Improvement Advisor, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact, supporting vital improvement initiatives that enhance both compliance and service quality.
Your Role:
Working alongside the Business Improvement Manager, you'll be at the heart of our assurance and improvement efforts-gathering and analysing data, customer feedback, and audit insights to help drive strategic progress. Your role will support:
- Delivery of high-quality assurance reporting
- Identification of business risks and opportunities
- Design and implementation of process improvements
- Monitoring compliance and enhancing operational efficiency
You'll engage with teams across the organisation to understand challenges and support change initiatives that lead to measurable, customer-focused results.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a proactive individual with:
- Experience in project or change management
- Experience in risk and assurance
- Knowledge of improvement tools and methodologies
- Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills
- Background in regulated sectors such as housing, care, or local government (preferred)
- A strategic mindset with the ability to influence change and drive performance
Please note: Appointment is subject to a Standard Disclosure check.
Up to 26 per hour
2 month contract initially
Edinburgh based - one day per week office attendance
