Our dedication is demonstrated by the whole council achievement of the Investors in People Standard and always aiming a little higher in our service delivery and improvements.

Deans Community High School is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic CDT workshop technician.  This is a key post which comes at an exciting and challenging time for education.

Deans Community High School is a six-year non-denominational comprehensive school offering our students a progressive, relevant, challenging and enjoyable curriculum with opportunities for personalisation and choice. We are fully committed to engaging our students in their learning and make it a priority to ensure that all students have the opportunity to enjoy a high quality educational experience at Deans. Current roll is around 1000 pupils.

We offer a wide and varied a curriculum, emphasising the need for learners to be as successful as possible in their attainment. We recognise and value a range of achievements in music, art, sport, technology, dance, drama, enterprise and interpersonal skills. The school building offers outstanding facilities including a theatre, swimming pool, dance studio and comprehensive music suite.  Students are encouraged to make the most of these through our curriculum and numerous extra-curricular activities.

Deans Community High School offers the opportunity for all students to succeed. We support all learners through our wider support team whose aim is to meet the needs of all individuals in an atmosphere of respect for self and for others. We want DCHS to thrive as an ambitious, vibrant and caring community, working in partnership with others to improve and to meet the needs of every learner, where resources, knowledge and skills are shared and used wisely, and achievements are shared and celebrated.
