The project is led by Professor Colin Lindsay in SCER and the aim of role is to help to deepen and strengthen an innovative partnership between SCER and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the UK’s professional association for people managers, co-created learning and KE resources to foster better-informed people management and therefore improved employee experience. Specifically, the KE Fellow will work intensively with SCER and CIPD colleagues with the aim of co-creating impactful, evidence-based learning resources and networks informed by the research and KE work of the ESRC PrOPEL Hub (a £2million ESRC investment led by SCER from 2020-24).

Specific activities include:

• Developing digital learning resources based on outputs from the ESRC PrOPEL Hub project, which worked with employers and teams to enhance job quality through evidence-informed learning and KE resources.

• Strengthening collaboration and building networks with CIPD Networks and tailoring of KE resources to inform the practice of HR leaders.

• Designing and delivering events that allow researchers and HR managers to share actionable intelligence informing HR practice.

Filling this role with an experienced KE professional will be essential to maximising the impacts of the ESRC PrOPEL Hub project, as well as meeting our obligations to effectively deliver impacts under the University’s £1.25m ESRC Impact Acceleration Account.
