Full Job Description
Teaching
- Deliver engaging and student-centred lessons with the aim of achieving course objectives and to the standards outlined in the teaching induction.
- Use in-house materials effectively and adapt to suit students' needs and abilities.
- Manage classes of 10-12 students effectively to allow each student to experience academically fulfilling environment.
- Encourage autonomous learning and prepare students for university study.
- Deliver individual or small group tutorials to ensure students are informed of their progress or the lack of thereof.
- Use Zoom to deliver live classes, utilising features such as screen-sharing and breakout rooms to maximise interaction
- Use Moodle to access course materials and track students' progress and engagement Academic Administration
- Keep up-to-date attendance records.
- Comment on students' progress and achievements in tutorials or in writing
- Mark assignments and provide feedback.
- Ensure all relevant class material is accessible to students in timely fashion.
- Be available for some asynchronous student support via email / MS Teams.
