Full Job Description
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Balfron High School team. We are a six-year modern, progressive, comprehensive and high achieving school. Balfron village is ideally located in a fabulous rural setting close to both Glasgow and Stirling, with picturesque commutes from both. Opened in 2001 and built to a very high specification, the school facilities offer great opportunities for staff and learners to maximise their experiences and embrace wider achievements.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible teacher of ASN 0.60FTE to be part of our growing Flexible Learning Team. We would welcome applications from candidates with appropriate experience in the primary or secondary sector. The successful candidate will be committed to removing barriers for young people, a proven record in building positive relationships and working as part of a successful team.
Please contact the school directly if you have any queries.
The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified. It is Stirling Council’s policy to ask that you pay for this if you are on point 4 or above of the main-grade teachers scale.
If you’ve got the right skills for the job we want to hear from you. We encourage applications from the right candidates regardless of age (restrictions apply to Modern Apprenticeships), disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief or race.
