Student Funding Manager (Ref: WCSR0001188)
Finance:
Grade:9 £48,938 - £53,348 per annum
(plus generous staff benefits package)
(Initial salary placement will normally be on the first point of the scale and will increase by annual incremental progression)
Hours: 35 per week
Location: Paisley Campus

The Student Funding Manager will manage the student support funding budget of circa £14m. You will provide a confidential and non-judgemental service to students, prospective students and other stakeholders in appropriate areas of Student Funding support, principally SFC / SAAS bursary, childcare and discretionary funds. The successful candidate will lead, co-ordinate and control the day-to-day aspects of an integrated student funding service for the College.
It is Essential that you are qualified to SCQF Level 9 - Ordinary Degree or appropriate SVQ4 and/or have significant experience in the role of Student Funding Manager within an educational institution. You should have experience of leading a student facing team to deliver successful outcomes as well as having a good knowledge and understanding of current developments in the welfare system. The successful candidate should have a professional approach to work, ability to work under pressure, and have the ability to travel independently between College sites.
