Facilitating the implementation of relevant Product Safety processes and production of deliverables
Supporting with the management of the hazards, risks and associated mitigations and contribute to the development of the hazard log and the maturity of information contained within
Developing safety arguments to go into the safety report
Organising and facilitating HAZIDs and review meetings and contributing to other HAZIDs when required
Taking responsibility for product safety assessment against major subsystems or key complex technologies, As a Safety Engineer in the Product Safety team, you will be reporting into the Product Safety Manager and will be involved in the Canadian River Class Destroyer programme. This is an exciting long term global naval programme in which you will work with international customers and stakeholders. Experience in product safety management processes and techniques
Familiar with report writing and developing safety arguments
Experience leading hazard identification meetings
Background within a Naval/Maritime environment or similar highly regulated industry
