KEY DUTIES: The operative will be expected to carry out the following tasks which should not be assumed as exhaustive, . .
• Carry out preventative maintenance
• Carry out reactive maintenance
• Observe and record daily data for records
• Oversee sub-contractors on site
• Daily reporting to management
• Liaising with customers
• On call and overtime
• Lone working
• Willingness to learn as it's a unique site
• Daily chemical checks on feed water
• Live within 15 minutes to deal with the on call
• Communication skills as it's a small team
• Computer literate
• Health and safety aware
• Desirable to have Boiler Operations Accreditation Scheme (BOAS) but not necessary.
• Mechanical or electrical experience
  
  Practical experience in a similar role.
• A pro-active attitude.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to form working relationships.
• The ability to form relationships with clients and to exceed customer expectation.
• Approachable demeanour and a demonstrable commitment to team working through flexible working hours.
• A knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
• Excellent record keeping
  
  Salary will be negotiable, and agreement will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
