Full Job Description
We are looking to employ a Full-time, permanent position as a Gas Service and Repair Engineer, at Alba Gas. The workload will predominantly be in the greater Glasgow area; however, employees will be required to occasionally travel further afield.
The main responsibilities will be to…………………
- Undertake Gas Service work including reactive repairs, servicing of boilers, fires and other Gas appliances and associated works.
- To issue any notices and certificates required by the relevant regulations, relating to Gas safety. To attend appointments as scheduled and instructed.
- To adhere to manufacturer’s instructions when servicing, repairing or installing appliances.
- To provide information to allow our records to be updated following Service and Testing work, and to issue a Landlord Gas Safety Certificate using electronic or manual documentation.
- To manage stock from our approved authorised suppliers and materials required to undertake the works through our approved materials order system.
- To provide excellent Customer Service, making sure that any issues are resolved safely and effectively within pre-set timescales.
Candidates must have relevant experience, good communication skills, logical problem-solving abilities, strong health and safety awareness, diligence, care and focus
Your Hours of work will be Monday to Friday (40 Hours a week) with additional overtime for the out-of-Hours Rota (1 week in every 9)

Minimum 2 years’ experience required (not including your apprenticeship).
Qualifications required: - Gas ACS, Level 3 Diploma or equivalent NVQ in Gas Engineering, existing Gas Safe Card and Driving License.
PAYE: £30,000 - £36,000 - Basic Depending on experience + Overtime
