We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Process Lecturer to join our established team, delivering engaging and high-quality learning experiences across SCQF levels 5 to 8. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with learners in SVQ, NC, and HN in Process, Chemical and multi-discipline Engineering programs within our state-of-the-art facilities. This role is based at our Falkirk campus.
You will have:
Relevant industrial experience in a process environment.
Relevant academic experience in process or chemical engineering.
Strong knowledge and the ability to develop and inspire learners across a range of process topics.
The ability to deliver both practical and theoretical lessons effectively.
A commitment to innovative teaching approaches, including the use of learning technologies.
A learner-focused mindset, ensuring students are fully supported in their educational journey.
While previous teaching experience in a college or education setting is desirable, we also welcome applications from those with industry experience who have delivered relevant training in the workplace.
The Role:
Develop and deliver high-quality learning, teaching, and assessment materials.
Work collaboratively with the subject team to enhance curriculum content and ensure it remains up to date and relevant to industry.
Support students in their learning, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience.
Maintain strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and quality standards.
