Mac Recruit Group are delighted to represent our client, a large group of companies who specialise in the sale, service, and support of JCB machinery. A Service Engineer is required to join their team in Forfar (some travel in the local area required)

Service Engineer duties:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair faults in JCB crushers and related machinery.
Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of the crusher plant.
Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Perform major overhauls and ensure machinery complies with safety and operational standards.
Attend breakdowns on-site, providing rapid and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate service records and complete job reports.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during repairs and maintenance.

Service Engineer requirements:

Relevant qualifications e.g. City and Guild, NVQ or SVQ in Construction Plant / HGV / Light Vehicle etc (essential)
Experience in construction plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault finding using electronic diagnostic equipment
