Full Job Description

Due to career progression, we have a unique opportunity for an established Residential Service Manager to join our team, a role that offers a real prospect to inspire and influence positive change.

Based at a sector leading service in Killearn, with continued opportunities for innovation to deliver the best possible outcomes for our young people.


What will you be doing?

The successful applicant will lead the team within a nurturing and caring culture to ensure the highest quality of relational support is provided for the young people we care for.

Working hours are 37 per week, Mon – Fri (with rotational out of hours, duty management responsibilities including weekends).


Who are we looking for to join the team?

  • Minimum 2 years previous experience of Residential Childcare practice and/or working in a management, or leadership role in a relevant field
  • Relevant professional qualifications in Social Work/Social Care. SVQ Level 4 Social Services (Children and Young People), SVQ Leadership and Management for Care Services Level 4 are desirable.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with other agency professionals.
  • Ability to flexibility participate in the on-call rota which will involve providing weekend cover on a rotational basis
  • As regular travel will be involved in the role, you must have a full driving license
