Salary £48,938 to £53,348 per annum (plus generous staff benefits package).
Hours: 35 hours per week
Temporary for 1 year

The Campus Operations Manager will have responsibility for leading and managing a team of in house staff and external service providers in the effective delivery of all Hard and Soft FM services throughout all campuses. Ensuring operational availability of all properties and assets. Effective management of all statutory compliance and ensuring a clean, safe, secure and sustainable environment is provided at all times for students and other service users. Responsibility for leading, planning, procuring, implementing and managing a programme of statutory compliance, planned, preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance contracts including project management of various projects throughout the campuses. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Campus Operations and be responsible for ensuring that all Hard and Soft FM services are effectively managed ensuring best value is achieved from in house staff and external service providers. The role is varied and challenging and will also involve using and managing various web based and site based IT systems and technology such as: Compliance software, BeMS, CCTV systems, asbestos management, water hygiene and energy portals etc, therefore a good standard of technical and IT knowledge will be required. You will work with the Head of Campus Operations and other Campus Operations Managers in the delivery of a One College Campus Operations Service, and provide effective leadership and operational management of all campus properties, assets and grounds.
You will be qualified with a SCQF Level 9 qualification, e.g. Degree, professional qualification in a construction or property related subject. The successful candidate will have proven management of a multi disciplined Estates & Facilities Management team, have People management and leadership skills, be able to work outwith normal hours, if required as well as being able to travel between campus if required.
