The Housing Investment Team has the responsibility for the asset management of over 12,000 council houses across Renfrewshire. Reporting to the Housing Asset & Energy Strategy Manager, this role will be the lead for managing our Housing Asset Management Database (Apex) and its stock condition data.
You will ensure stock condition data is accurate and analyse the data to identify capital investment programmes that help meet regulatory standards. You will lead on providing information for the Annual Return to the Housing Regulator with respect to stock condition and energy.
You will respond to a wide range of enquiries related to stock condition and current or future investment programmes and help ensure the Housing Asset Management Strategy is implemented. You will be expected to be able to provide data and reports in many different formats.
It is essential you have an HNC in Asset Management, Housing or related discipline or significant experience
Experience of using housing asset management databases and computer systems, experience of coordinating, maintaining and modelling stock condition data to inform investment programmes and extensive knowledge of statutory and regulatory standards in relation to social housing are also essential.
You must have effective IT skills, including use of MS Excel and Access, negotiation, problem solving, and analytical skills aswell as the ability to deal with complex data sets.
You will have proven experience of supervising staff , effective interpersonal and communication skills, be capable of working effectively in pressured situations and be adaptable and flexible in your approach.
Our teams promote flexible and mobile working practices. A degree of flexibility of work location is expected, this may include working from home.
A full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
