Eden Scot's client is seeking Corporate Action Administrator to join their Financial Services office in Edinburgh

The successful individual will perform daily duties checking and overseeing all corporate action functions and ensure all event notification are processed and input client elections, update client portfolio with any out turn and completion of reconciliations

Responsibilities

Tracking of Global Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate actions and data scrubbing.
Event creation for valid corporate Actions and diarizing for important dates using Outlook.
Verification and validating the events by comparing with various data vendors, Agents, SWIFT and Trustees data.
Processing Mandatory and Voluntary corporate actions in Global markets.
Reconciliation cash and Stock positions.
Clearing stock and cash breaks due to corporate actions.
Notifying the Deadlines, Options and Positions to the Lending clients and fund managers.
Collation and filing of client instructions to meet legal and Audit

Person Specification

Corporate Actions experience gained within a financial institution
Sound knowledge of investment management, including relevant terminology
Knowledge of the regulatory environment and how it applies to and impacts your role
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel
Strong Interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences.
Accuracy and attention to detail
Demonstrate ability to manage daily tasks taking key risks into consideration
