Full Job Description
Eden Scott is delighted to partner with a highly successful bank in Edinburgh to recruit a Banking Operations Administration Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team, supporting the efficient running of the Banking Operations & Payment area. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Process various banking transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist customers with inquiries, ensuring high-quality service and support
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance operational efficiency
- Assist in checking Money Market & Foreign Exchange confirmations
- Check & release interest tables, sterling, and currency payments
- Monitor and coordinate the storage of records
- Liaise with managers, banks, colleagues, and dealers on key issues
- Update and process entries to client accounts accurately
- Maintain and action diary boxes & pending files daily
Skills & Experience Required:
- Knowledge of Banking Operations
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Banking awareness (advantageous)
- Hybrid working model - balance office and home-based work
