Due to exciting growth plans and investment in the retirement space we are recruiting a Proposition Analyst to join the Royal London Equity Release Lending team in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring fresh ideas and views to complement our high performing teams of Prop Analysts As a Proposition Analyst, you will progress the end-to-end proposition, working across functions and third parties, and will deliver proposition innovations to improve the experience and outcomes for our customers and their advisers. This includes the creation of new, and changes to existing product propositions, supporting the delivery of the Royal London retirment strategy. About the role

• Ensure that the proposition design clearly details the requirements and experience needed to successfully meet strategic goals while and customer and adviser needs.
• To collaborate with other key functions to ensure detailed design and implementation of proposition developments are in line with strategy.
• Understand behavioural/Market/ external changes and design solutions to meet the needs of all relevant customers and their advisers.
• Ensure the Proposition Development policy and guidance is followed effectively.
• Take an active role in influencing strategic plan and challenge the status quo where relevant and appropriate.
• Ensure the customer and adviser journeys are mapped accurately and in a way that helps spot areas for improvement.
• Support the strategy for engaging with third parties and ensure that full product and experience requirements are delivered as part of any agreed solutions.
• Maintain and support existing propositions/ products, including accuracy and suitability of technical parts of communications relevant to the proposition.
• Embrace agile ways of working to deliver change in the most effective way possible.
  
  Understanding of the financial services industry and the legislative/regulatory framework and the ability to think creatively around big picture and detailed solutions.
• Ideally knowledge of the retirement market but we are open to all backgrounds
• A good understanding of customers, and their advisers, and how to build an efficient operation around their needs Commercially astute with the ability to understand and be innovative in their approach to designing solutions and the ability to influence the design of our strategy.

• An excellent communicator who can create relationships with internal and external stakeholders and can clearly articulate our strategy, solutions and their benefits to all.
