Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering once again with Hardie Polymers in Milngavie as they look to expand their team of Account Managers.

As Sales Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in nurturing relationships with both new and existing customers. Working alongside the Technical Sales Manager, you’ll manage day-to-day sales activities, identify new opportunities, and ensure a smooth customer journey.

It’s a varied, fast-paced role that offers plenty of scope to grow and contribute to the wider success of the business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with customers
• Proactively reaching out to existing accounts and generating new leads
• Following up on inbound enquiries and quoting for new business
• Logging all activity in the CRM to support transparency and pipeline visibility
• Supporting the wider team to deliver excellent customer service
• Keeping up to date with market changes and industry trends
• Bringing ideas, solutions, and a collaborative spirit to the table

What we’re looking for:

• You might be a graduate with a background in engineering or similar, you might have a year or two customer service experience under your belt. What matters most is your attitude: positive, professional, and eager to learn.

• A true people person who enjoys building and nurturing relationships with customers
• Proactive, organised and commercially minded – with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering a great customer experience
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills

You don’t need to bring specific product knowledge – full training will be provided. What matters most is your attitude: positive, professional, and eager to learn
