We currently have an excellent career opportunity, for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who aspires to lead the way in professional practice and service delivery in our Department of Creative, Digital and Leisure Industries within the Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy section.

You will have responsibility for providing a consistent, responsive and high quality service to learners and teaching staff in order to optimise the delivery of the curriculum. You will provide academic and technical support including workshop and equipment demonstrations and organising the repair and maintenance of equipment. You will also be responsible for the compliance with health and safety regulations, including COSHH. You will also have responsibility for stock control and maintenance of a realistic working environment.

You should have an HNC or relevant SVQ in an appropriate subject or equivalent, or significant relevant experience in the specialist area together with a good working knowledge of health and safety.
